Admissions

Please note: Admissions to session 2023/24 is now open. In order to apply, kindly send in a request to alnoorschooladmissions@gmail.com between the month, January – March 2023.
Al-Noor School Academic year is from August till June. It starts and ends around the same time of the local public school; and closes during summer holidays. Admission to school for a new session will be open between November and December of an academic year depending on the places available.
The procedure to follow for admission at the School:
1. Email your queries regarding admission to alnoorschooladmissions@gmail.com . The School management will then inform you on how to apply.
It is important to note this enquiry does not entitle your child to be on the waiting list and it is also NOT an acceptance that your child is admitted as a student.
Why NO WAITING LIST? Previously School offered the option for any enquirer to be on the waiting list. Due to shortage number of staff and limited working time with very restricted facilities of this weekend school, its not viable nor practical to keep a long term track and follow up of the numerous number enquiries coming in.
It has been decided that the admission to School will be open every session on the basis of the number of places available. Further information on the application process will be made available only when the application form is emailed to the person who made the enquiry.
2. If the admission is not successful for a particular session, you are requested to keep track of the updates regarding admission for the next academic year on this school website (www.alnoorschoolaberdeen.com). An update on admission will be made in February of every academic year in sha Allah.
3. If admission is open for a particular session, application form will be made available to the candidate / enquirer.
4. The age group of the children attending the School is between 5 to 14 years old. However, for admission & enrolment purposes (registration), the applicants should not be above 10 years old.
Assessment for Older Children
There are sessions when older children between the age group 8 and 12 can apply. This is however only possible if there is any spaces are available in the appropriate classes. It also require that the applicants pass the assessment done by the senior teachers at Al Noor. This is to make easy allotting the child to the class that suits his/her needs and progress.
